Arvind Kejriwal Questions RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat on BJP’s Alleged Practices

Kejriwal raises concerns over alleged distribution of money for votes and large-scale voter deletion targeting Purvanchali and Dalit communities.

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal has addressed a letter to Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat, questioning whether the RSS supports certain alleged actions by BJP leaders in Delhi. According to AAP sources, Kejriwal raised issues concerning the alleged use of money to influence votes and the reported deletion of voter names from Dalit and Purvanchali communities.

Kejriwal’s letter questioned whether the RSS approves of what he described as “wrongdoings” by the BJP. Highlighting the allegations, he inquired if the RSS supported BJP leaders distributing money to sway votes and the large-scale removal of voter names, actions he claimed undermine democracy.

“There are reports in the media suggesting that the RSS might campaign for the BJP in the upcoming Delhi elections. Before that happens, the public deserves to know whether the RSS endorses such alleged misconduct by the BJP,” Kejriwal stated in the letter dated December 30.

He further challenged the RSS, asking, “Don’t you think such actions by the BJP are weakening Indian democracy?”

The BJP, on the other hand, has countered these allegations by accusing Kejriwal and the AAP of supporting illegal Rohingya and Bangladeshi migrants in Delhi by providing them with documents and resources, allegedly to use them as a vote bank.

Delhi Assembly elections, comprising 70 seats, are scheduled for February.
